Business cards are still the true personal touch for businesses.

A business card is still the most personal approach to passing contact information between two people. Much of what we do in business today is digital -- sending mail, signing contracts, attending meetings, even networking. A business card is one thing that our digital way of doing business has yet to fully replace. Networking is all about making genuine connections. Sending your contact information through text or email instantaneously is convenient but it is also much more impersonal. Nothing creates a first impression as well as engaging in eye contact and actual conversation. This is the basis of how real business (and personal) relationships begin.

The last thing you want to do is make a new business connection or meet an interested potential client, and have them walk away from the interaction without the ability to be contact you in the near future. Be prepared at all times to pass your contact information on to an interested party, don't let the next opportunity slip through your fingers.
